Owners of Yamaha TZs facing bottom end rebuilds have the
option to have their crankshafts rebuilt rather than purchasing a brand new
crankshaft. The Honda RS125 and RS250 do not have a crankshafts that lend themselves to
being rebuilt, and replacement components (ie. the connecting rod) that meet
specifications are not readily available.
MCE rebuilds TZ crankshafts to the same exacting standards performed in all
other MCE projects. MCE understands the demands placed on the crankshaft in
a grand prix racing engine and rebuilds crankshafts to the proper tolerances
and specifications. If the crankshaft isn't as good as it could possibly be,
then it doesn't leave the shop.
